This is a great book on the early history of the Native peoples of southern New England. Covers their history and early contact with Euroamerican colonizers, as well as their traditions and customs. Tribes include the Wampanoag, Narrangaset, Abenaki, and others. A must for anyone interested in this area of American history.

This is a very interesting book on quantum mechanics. Guglinski puts forth several new theories on the fundamental nature of atomic particles, quantum mechanics, neutrons, and much more. Not your standard physics textbook by any stretch.

There are tons of books and articles out there on the prehistory of the Americas, but none like this. I was really excited about the depth and the approach taken. Instead of the usual one where the past is talked about as dead, this book showed how today's American Indians are the living descendants of the archaeological record. It also covered the biological, linguistic, and oral tradition data on the peopling of the Americas through the Holocene. Very comprehensive.

This book, although fairly technical, was written well enough that I could actually understand what genetic studies are about and what they say concerning the peopling of the Americas and the first American Indians. On top of this, the second half of the book contains an extensive appendix listing every genetic study done to date, the tribes tested, and what the results were. What a great resource!

I recently read this book and thought it was great. I've been wondering about my place in the world these days, and after reading this book I have a better idea of myself and my place. What I liked the most was how this book gave hope about my own actions, and showed how those actions can actually make a difference in the world. What a great book to find at this point in my life. Anyone who is looking for some positive messages needs to read this book!
